Job ad: Nonclassical – Label & Artist Development Manager (London)

Nonclassical (NC) brings new classical music to new audiences in non-traditional ways and settings through events and festivals, both in the UK and internationally, an internationally renowned record label, working with high quality performers, and developing and mentoring artists.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join NC’s team in as Label & Artist Development Manager. Working closely with the NC team, the role will be to drive the future creative direction of the label, and fulfil strategic aims in artist and label development, with responsibility for:

• Overseeing and coordinating label strategy
• Coordinating and managing all digital and physical production for releases
• Working with Marketing & Communications Manager to develop marketing strategies
• Working with Executive Director/General Manager to arrange live performances and tours in connection with new and upcoming releases

You will need to be highly motivated, passionate and knowledgeable about new music, and capable of establishing and maintaining relationships with musicians, composers and related organisations.

With excellent skills in all aspects of delivery, with attention to detail and flair for communicating to our target audience, we are looking for somebody who will taking new music to new audiences. Experience of working on a number of tasks simultaneously and to deadlines, and the ability to demonstrate initiative and flexibility is essential for this role within a small charity with a big vision.

Salary – £20,000 – £24,000 pro rata, subject to experience
Hours – 16 hours (2 days) per week
