Night Department is looking to bring in someone ambitious to join its expanding team. A great opportunity for someone to step up as we grow as a company with our roster.

Artists: Billy Turner, Claude VonStroke, Debruit, Hammer, Kidnap Kid, Kokoko!, Monki, Route 94, Scuba, Solardo and more.

Job description

You will work parallel with Senior Management whilst liaising with other departments such as digital and legal. The role is assisting the managers with all aspects of artist management on a day to day basis.

The ideal candidate will have a healthy knowledge of the electronic dance music scene. We are looking for someone with a background in the music industry. Skilled project management is essential, social media experience, PR, finance and touring in the live industry are also required.

You must be able to lead and keep a cool head and thrive under pressure.

Skills needed: Above average knowledge of office software: google drive, excellent communication skills, great organisational skills, diary management.

Salary: Dependant upon experience

Times: Trial period of three months, extended to a full time contract thereafter.

Duties an role

• Running point on the day to day management of artists.
• Lead planning and strategy meeting based on artists.
• Drive artist related projects.
• Adapt projects and timelines according success and failure of individual of tasks.
• Setting up specific artist marketing meeting to discuss individual & project needs
• Monthly progress document’s for each artist: statistically and financially.
• Diary management.
• Running point on artist tours – tour promotion and working with promoters.
• Copycheck of artwork, admats, PR releases flyer artwork for gigs and releases
• Management of company / artist databases.
• Support of digital media landscape and networks of artists.
• Attendance of artist gigs – London / Sonar / ADE / Ibiza / Miami, etc where relevant.
• A&R for relevant talent for potential management.

Project specific

We will assign specific projects to you to see from conception to delivery based on the artists you work directly with. We will be on hand to offer guidance but these will be your responsibility. As a developing company we need everyone to be dynamic and willing to undertake new and different aspects when requested.
