Erased Tapes Records is an independent record label that was founded in 2007, with offices in London, Berlin and Los Angeles. Erased Tapes represents an internationally acclaimed roster of contemporary composers and electronic artists including Nils Frahm, Rival Consoles, Ólafur Arnalds, Penguin Cafe, Kiasmos, Ben Lukas Boysen and Peter Broderick.

We are currently seeking an experienced Product Manager to join our team. Working in our London office and reporting to the company’s Director, the chosen candidate will oversee manufacturing and stock control including vinyl records and CDs for our international distribution network. You will maintain close relationships with our international network of distributors, graphic designers and warehouse managers to ensure a strong point-of-sale presence and effective execution of global sales campaigns for our releases.

Tasks and responsibilities

• Stock control and product orders
• Meta-data preparation and export for digital distribution
• Info sheet and notes preparation for physical distribution
• Train and manage interns/assistants
• Closely liaise with graphic designers, distributors and suppliers
• Maintain webshop and back-end database(eg:product images, descriptions, audio clips, download codes)
• Market research and album campaign support
• Driving back catalogue sales through creative retail promotions and merchandising (t-shirts, prints, stickers +)
• Assist with and organise label market sales and special events
• Maintain our SoundGallery shop inventory

Required experience and skills

• A passion for music, both classical and contemporary
• 2-3 years experience in a similar role
• A working knowledge of music retail outlets, trends and
physical sales opportunities
• A keen sense of organisation and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Desired Experience & Skills
• A strong appreciation for design and Photoshop/InDesign and/or video editing experience would be a major asset
• Experience in creative writing and marketing copy
• Prior customer service or work in music retail would be a plus

Salary Dependent on experience
28 days annual leave
