Job ad: Cream – Marketing Executive (Liverpool)

Joining a small and busy Marketing and PR team, the candidate will be required to support the planning, delivery and analysis / reporting of marketing campaigns immediately, with quick progression to managing smaller campaigns with support from the Marketing Manager / Acting Head of Marketing – Maternity Leave Cover.

The successful candidate will be required to work in our Liverpool office but will also be expected to work occasional weekends during events / festivals as well as out of core office hours.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Marketing Manager / Head of Department to execute and analyse marketing activity across multiple projects, events and festivals
• Brief designers / video editors (internal and external agency) to produce assets required for marketing campaigns
• Plan and purchase small scale digital campaigns with the support of Marketing Manager / Head of Department
• Contribute to the daily Social Media strategy meeting, bringing fresh, engaging ideas for new content
• Support the Marketing Manager / Head of Department with budgetary control and administration across projects
• Work to deliver engaging marketing during and from events
• Monitor campaign effectiveness and report on this where appropriate
• Support the Marketing Team on any other marketing / PR related activity where required
• Assist in general office / admin duties as required

Skills required

• Marketing experience in a similar environment
• Experience of creating and buying paid digital marketing campaigns across popular social platforms
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Strong online communication skills including the ability to relate to other members of the team
• Good use of Microsoft Office particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Ability to manage a number of projects at one time
• Approachable and conversational
• Fluent in English

Desired experience

• Marketing experience in a music / festival related role
• Some experience with experience using Adobe Creative Suites
• Knowledge and enthusiasm for UK festival markets and events
