MØ releases new single ahead of UK tour
By Andy Malt | Published on Monday 10 October 2016
MØ is back with a new single, ‘Drum’, which features Charli XCX, Noonie Bao and BloodPop.
“‘Drum’ is about setting each other free”, says MØ. “Whether it’s an old friend, a lover, a lifetime partner or even yourself, it’s about letting go in order to pursue your dreams, for better or worse. Sometimes we have to accept that we might not have a plan, but that we have to figure out our own shit – take the punches and get stronger – and the same goes for those we care about”.
The single comes out ahead of the musician’s first UK tour, which begins in Brighton tomorrow and finishes with a sold out show at London’s Roundhouse on 22 Oct.
