Minus The Bear announce new album
By CMU Editorial | Published on Wednesday 2 June 2010
Seattle indie champions Minus The Bear have announced that they will release their fourth album, ‘OMNI’, on 23 Aug via Cooperative Music.
Speaking about their new material, frontman Jake Snider told CMU: “We always wanted to see just how weird we can make a pop song, but I think at some point we abandoned that and just started wanting to write really good songs”.
Guitarist Dave Knudson added: “The main thing we try to accomplish is putting together something that we’re going to enjoy playing forever. We always make sure that we want to hear the song as much
as anybody else”.
The band have been confirmed to play this year’s Reading and Leeds festivals and more UK dates are expected to be announced shortly.
