Milo Cordell leaves The Big Pink

The Big Pink has lost musician Milo Cordell to the bright lights of New York City and the label he runs, Merok Records, leaving frontman Robbie Furze to do as he will.
And he’s opted to continue, and is, says Furze via Facebook, “well into” making a new Big Pink LP with drummer Vicky Jean Smith at the Electric Ladyland studio in New York. He also revealed that they have so far been joined in recording sessions by Fever Ray’s Van Rivers, Miike Snow’s Andrew Wyatt and Chicago rap posse Supreme Cuts.
He adds that he, Smith and whoever will also join Black Rebel Motorcycle Club when they play a series of British live dates in late Mar.
