Miley Cyrus defends gay marriage

Don’t know if y’all heard about it already, but there’s been a bit of a hoo-hah in the gossip media over Carrie Prejean, aka Miss California, and her views on same sex marriage. Appearing at the Miss USA pageant at the weekend, she was asked by celebrity blogger and judge Perez Hilton what she thought about the issue, and she responded to the effect that she thinks marriage should be only for straight couples.
Hilton has since been lobbying various celebrities for their own thoughts on the issue, and staunch Christian Miley Cyrus is one of those. Responding via her Twitter.com account, she wrote, “Jesus loves you AND your partner and wants you to know how much he cares! thats like a daddy not loving his lil boy cuz hes gay and that is WRONG and very sad! like i said everyone deserves to be happy”. All the mistakes (grammatical I mean, not theological) are hers.
