Michael Jackson dancing game planned

Gaming types Ubisoft will release a new Michael Jackson game this autumn in time for Christmas. Although it will have a karaoke element, the dancing component will be the important bit, it developing technology used in the gaming firm’s popular ‘Just Dance’ game.

The gaming company announced the planned new release at the Electronic Entertainment Expo, or E3, shindig in LA this week. They didn’t have any clips from the game to show, but did have some dancers from the never-to-happen ‘This Is It’ Jacko concerts to demonstrate the sort of dancing that may appear in the game.

The new game should hit the stores around about the same time as the new album of previously unreleased Jackson songs that Sony has in the pipeline. It’s not known what Ubisoft are paying to the Jacko estate for permission to release an official Michael Jackson game.
