McFly’s Harry develops heart condition while training for London Marathon
By Andy Malt | Published on Thursday 4 April 2013
McFly drummer Harry Judd has been training so hard for the London Marathon later this month that he’s developed a heart condition. There, I hope you’re happy now.
Judd tweeted earlier this week: “So I’ve acquired an ectopic heart beat through excessive exercise. It’s known as a ‘wandering pacemaker’, commonly seen in athletes … it’s really annoying! [But] it proves I’ve been pushing as hard as possible for the marathon and if you’ve been thinking of sponsoring me then surely that will [persuade] you?”
For those thinking that Judd is suggesting there that the lure of possibly seeing a celebrity keel over and die should convince you to sponsor him, he added: “It’s nothing to worry about but just means I have to chill out a bit”.
Yeah, you know, he just needs to chill out a bit. And what could be more relaxing than running 26 miles?
