Love settles Nirvana publishing lawsuit
By CMU Editorial | Published on Thursday 19 August 2010
Courtney Love has settled a lawsuit relating to the Kurt Cobain publishing catalogue. The Hole frontwoman was sued in 2008 by management firm London & Co, who said she had failed to pass on earnings they were due from the sale of her late husband’s publishing rights, a deal the company said had netted her $20 million.
According to Associated Press, London & Co have informed the LA judge overseeing the case that they have settled, later confirmed by Love’s lawyer, though no details of the settlement have been made public.
