Lennon killer parole hearing postponed
By CMU Editorial | Published on Wednesday 11 August 2010
The latest parole hearing for Mark Chapman, who shot John Lennon dead in 1980, has been postponed until next month.
Chapman was jailed for ’20 years to life’ and has been denied parole five times since becoming eligible in 2000. His latest hearing was due to take place on Monday.
A spokesman for the Division Of Parole told reporters that this has now been delayed until next month while they await further information, though refused to divulge what details are missing from Chapman’s report.
