Kylie joins Abba tribute line-up
By CMU Editorial | Published on Friday 28 August 2009
Kylie Minogue has joined the line-up for that previously reported Abba tribute concert that Radio 2 are putting together. The show will be the singer’s only UK live appearance this year, and will see her perform two songs – ‘Super Trooper’ and ‘When All Is Said And Done’ – the latter of which she will be joined for by Abba’s Benny Andersson.
Says Kylie: “The opportunity to perform classic Abba songs on stage with members of Abba really is a dream come true. Their music has played such a great part in my life from a very early age and I’m thrilled I’ll be able to share that with them personally”.
‘Thank You For The Music… A Celebration Of The Music Of Abba’ will take place in London’s Hyde Park on 13 Sep.
