Katy Perry unveils new single

Before Lady Gaga could shove her new single out onto the internet, Katy Perry got their first with the lyric video for ‘Roar’. Although she at least had planned to unveil her song yesterday, despite a leak over the weekend. No countdowns were rendered redundant in her case.
Anyway, ‘Roar’ is out on 8 Sep and is the first single from Perry’s new album ‘Prism’, which is out on 22 Oct. You can watch the emoticon-heavy video/WhatsApp advert below (that’s not your alarm going off, by the way):
