Katy Perry leads the way at VMAs

So, the noms for this year’s MTV VMAs are out, people. And look, they’re not totally dominated by Gaga and Bieber; who’d have thought? The former appears three times on the shortlists, but the latter only once. Though presumably he’ll sweep the boards at this year’s MTV Perfume Awards. Katy Perry actually leads the way this time round with no less than nine nominations, while Adele follows closely behind being up for seven prizes. Kanye West is also shortlisted seven times over.
