Kanye West has LAX attack conviction removed from record
By Andy Malt | Published on Wednesday 4 May 2016
Kanye West has had a conviction for misdemeanour battery wiped from his criminal record, reports TMZ.
As previously reported, West was convicted of attacking photographer Daniel Ramos at Los Angeles International Airport in 2014, after entering a plea of no contest over the pap altercation.
He has now had a request to expunge the conviction approved after doing more than the 250 hours of community service he was ordered to carry out and by staying out of trouble for the duration of his two year probation.
A civil suit brought by the snapper against the rapper was settled out of court in April last year, in a deal that saw West agree to apologise to Ramos.
