Jay-Z releasing live EP any moment now
By CMU Editorial | Published on Tuesday 9 October 2012
Jay-Z is to release a compilation of live recordings from the eight dates he played at New York’s brand new Barclays Center. The rapper, who live-streamed his final set at the new Brooklyn-based arena on Saturday night, will share ‘Live In Brooklyn’ EP today via iTunes.
In addition to its eight component tracks and videos, it may or may not feature scenes of that ‘teach-in’ demonstration Occupy Wall Street reps threatened to stage at one of Z’s Barclays concerts. OK, it probably won’t.
Saying that, something appeared to be distracting Jay-Z at the crucial part of his and Beyonce’s ‘Crazy In Love’ duet, meaning that he missed most of his rap about chinchillas. Rumours that the primary cause was Beyonce’s leather dress are as yet unsubstantiated.
