Interscope signs ‘viral teen sensation’ Pia Mia

As ‘discovered’ Justin Bieber-style on YouTube, Pacific Island singing sensation Pia Mia has signed with Universal’s Interscope Records, who’ll primp a re-release of the R&B teen’s first EP, ‘The Gift’, on 25 Feb.
Joie Manda, Interscope’s Urban President, says: “When I met Pia and heard her sing I was floored. Artists of her magnitude come along very rarely. We are truly excited to help her become a global superstar”.
Whilst Pia says: “I want to show everyone that people from small places can achieve their dreams no matter how big they are”.
