Interpol to headline NME Awards Tour

NME has confirmed Interpol will headline its Awards Tour, the one that’s sponsored, somehow, by the city-come-brand of Austin, in Texas, the USA. The all-American band, who 100% aren’t splitting any time soon, will lord it over Temples, Royal Blood and Circa Waves over the course of eight Awards Tour shows in all, with all four acts playing as listed:
18 Mar: Glasgow, Academy
19 Mar: Leeds, Academy
20 Mar: Manchester, Academy
22 Mar: Liverpool, Academy
23 Mar: Nottingham, Rock City
25 Mar: Birmingham, Academy
26 Mar: Bristol, Academy
27 Mar: London, Brixton Academy
Of course, the above Awards Tour isn’t to be confused with the Awards Shows that NME is putting on next month, oh no. Those shows, the Awards Shows, of which there are 24 in all, will take place across various spots in London from 3-25 Feb, and feature the likes of Phoenix, Parquet Courts, Speedy Ortiz, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Superfood and a just-added Chvrches.
