US-based artist management group Indegoot Entertainment is opening a London office to be led by former Roadrunner Records exec Wally Van Middendorp, who was last seen setting up a European office for Eleven Seven Music.

The new London office will oversee European activities for Indegoot’s existing roster of artists, which include Halestorm, Black Stone Cherry and Neon Trees, as well as seeking European talent to represent.

Indegoot Entertainment CEO Bill McGathy told CMU: “The UK and continental Europe are increasingly important territories for our artists and it is important that we have a presence on the ground to make sure we maximise the opportunities available to them there. I have known and worked with Wally Van Middendorp for a long time and know that he has a great overview and deep understanding of the European marketplace, which makes him the perfect person to represent our interests in London”.

Meanwhile Van Middendorp added: “Bill and his team at Indegoot Entertainment represent an amazing roster of artists many of whom are starting to build real traction in Europe. Having a dedicated office in London will allow Indegoot to be right at the heart of all the activity surrounding those artists and I am delighted that Bill has asked me to be part of this new phase of the company”.
