Harry Hill’s ‘X-Factor’ musical is getting closer to the stage, now bearing a name. And names are important in these things.

Hill explained: “We’d been umm-ing and ahh-ing about the title for a while, then it hit us… ‘I Can’t Sing!’ It also happens to be the title of one of the funniest songs in the show and we hope hints at the direction we’re taking this production. We’re pretty certain that you won’t have seen anything like it before and it’s great that Simon is backing it 4500%”.

The nineteen songs in the show have been written by Steve Brown, who has previously worked on ‘Spitting Image’ and Hill’s ‘TV Burp’ show. It will be directed by Sean Foley, who oversaw Graham Linehan’s stage production of ‘The Ladykillers’, and is due to begin previewing at the London Palladium next February.
