Eddy Says: Happy New Year everybody!

And an extra happy new year for us here in the world of The Remix thanks to the extra hour we’ve been given by Xfm!

We’ve got lots of great stuff planned for the fourth hour of the show (do look out for the The Darkside slot, it’s gonna be good), but probably my favourite is the return of Bedroom Bedlam, giving you guys out there the chance to get on air.

Thanks for all the mash-ups you’ve been uploading since our mini-update last week – and in particular the great little mini-mixes some of you have been sending us. Actually, these work extra well – because we have a 15 minute slot available, and what I’d really like to do is throw over the whole slot to a different one of you each week.

So here’s a challenge. Put together a 15 minute mix (pretty much exact if you can) and upload it to the SoundCloud dropbox we’ve set up with a sensible file name (details below). Then send me an email to eddy@remixupdate.co.uk with the name of your mix plus a tracklisting and a paragraph about your good selves. I’ll give them all a listen and play the best ones out on the show.

Even though this goes out very late at night, please remember those radio rules, and make sure you edit out any swearing!
