Frank Turner posts hardcore audio
By CMU Editorial | Published on Tuesday 7 August 2012
Having played the role of warm-up act ahead of the Olympic Games opening ceremony, part-time folk raconteur Frank Turner has premiered the first official audio from his “depraved” post-hardcore project Möngöl Hörde.
Formed last August, the band comprises Turner (obviously), his one-time Million Dead drummer Ben Dawson, and keyboardist Matt Nasir.
And here’s the video for the new track, which is titled ‘Casual Threats For Weekend Hardmen’. As you’ll see, the video was filmed via iPhones gaffer-taped to each of the three-piece’s faces, like a very low-budget episode of ‘Peep Show’.
