Festival line-up update: ATP’s End Of An Era, T In The Park, Jersey Live and more
By Aly Barchi | Published on Monday 20 May 2013
So, it’s almost FLUU time. But first, an intro, starting with ATP’s holiday camp swansong, End Of An Era, which is taking place over a pair of adjoining weekends in late November. Mogwai! Ty Segall! Balam Acab! Godspeed You! Black Emperor! All those artists have been added to the mix, as is headlined by Television and Loop, and features Chelsea Light Moving, The Pop Group, Low, Dinosaur Jr and Dirty Beaches.
Mogwai’s Stuart Braithwait RSVPs to it all by saying: “It’s an incredible honour to be asked to close the final ATP holiday camp festival. We couldn’t have imagined when we curated one thirteen years ago that the festival would have had the impact that it’s had. Back then festivals were moving further to the mainstream and I think the continued strength of underground music in the UK owes a big debt to the work done by ATP. I think getting to play with LOOP, musical heroes of ours, will be a fitting way for us to close this event”.
And that’s all the intro-ing I’m doing for now, knowing, as I do, that you’d all much rather take a look at listed updates via the following:
