BLOODSTOCK, Catton Hall, Derbyshire, 12-14 Aug: A whole lot of rockin type acts are fresh on the meaty Bloodstock bill, these being Avenge Thee & Naime, Blud Vera, Cryostorm, Decimation, Fantasist, Guardians Of Andromeda, Inferno, Last In Line, Obsessive Compulsive, Operation Error, Pig Iron and, of course, Zombie Militia. LEEDS FESTIVAL, Bramham Park, Leeds, West Yorkshire, 26-28 Aug: SBTRKT, Gold Panda, Three Trapped Tigers and Becoming Real constitute the latest additions to the Alternative Stage line-up, as hosted by Transgressive Records, at this year’s Leeds Festival. Twinned, of course, with its Reading-based counterpart, the dual events will both welcome the likes of co-headliners My Chemical Romance, Muse, Pulp and The Strokes. www.leedsfestival.com
