THE APPLE CART, Victoria Park, London, 7 Aug: The organisers of Field Day present the inaugural edition of this new one-dayer, which features a musical line-up consisting so far of Badly Drawn Boy, Chilly Gonzales, Soul II Soul, The Magic Numbers and Saint Etienne. Festival goers can expect DJ sets from the likes of Giles Peterson and Dexy’s Midnight Runner bloke Kevin Rowland, as well as an array of food, art and magic-related delights.
