AMSTERDAM DANCE EVENT, various venues, Amsterdam, 19-22 Oct: David Guetta, Caribou, Afrojack, Richie Hawtin and Armin Van Buuren are amongst the first performers booked for this year’s mammoth ADE electro showcase and conference. ELECTRIC PICNIC, Stradbally Hall Estate, Co Laois, Ireland, 2-4 Sep: Austra, James Vincent McMorrow, Redinho and Brandt Brauer Frick head up the acts most recently confirmed to appear at Ireland’s all-star Electric Picnic, which is to play host to co-headliners Arcade Fire, Pulp and The Chemical Brothers, as well as Interpol, P J Harvey, Public Enemy, DJ Shadow, Oh Land and Santigold. www.electricpicnic.ie
