KANTAZIP REPUBLIC, Crimea, Ukraine, 30 Jul – 27 Aug: The first slew of announcements for Crimea’s premier music event includes such beat-making types as Groove Armada, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, Aeroplane, Danny Howells, Richie Hawtin and James Zabiela. RELENTLESS BOARDMASTERS, Watergate Bay, Cornwall, 10-14 Aug: Newton Faulkner looks set to get his dreads all sand-logged at this year’s Boardmasters bash, finding himself freshly booked as a special musical guest at an intimate Beach Sessions gig, which will be held on 11 Aug as part of the main festival.
