Ents24 crunches tracking stats to assess artists rising in popularity
By Chris Cooke | Published on Thursday 2 July 2015
Online entertainment guide and ticketing hub Ents24 will today publish a chart of the artists and performers who have seen their popularity rise most over the first half of 2015.
These stats are based on the tracking tools available on the Ents24 platform, which enable users to track their favourite artists, comedians and other performers, so to receive alerts whenever they announce a show or are added to a festival line-up.
Claiming to provide “info and tickets for more UK live events than anyone else”, Ents24 says that this “puts us in a great position to gauge which artists, comedians and entertainers are gaining popularity, and which are doing so fastest, spurred on by a standout TV appearance, the announcement of a massive comeback tour, or a breathtaking festival set”.
And the twenty artists and performers which have increased most in popularity on the Ents24 platform so far this year are (in alphabetical order):
James Bay
Leon Bridges
Dan & Phil
Alfie Deyes
Harry Enfield
FFS
Jack Garratt
Ben Haenow
Låpsley
Shawn Mendes
Nothing But Thieves
PVRIS
Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox
Soak
Songhoy Blues
Stereo Kicks
The Two Mikes
Meghan Trainor
Paul Whitehouse
Years & Years
There will be more stats and info on the Ents 24 blog later today at blog.ents24.com
