By CMU Editorial | Published on Wednesday 12 December 2012
The late Donna Summer will be finally inducted into the Rock N Roll Hall Of Fame next April. Shortlisted for induction into the US-based institution no less than six times, she will get the honour just under a year after her death.
Also due to be inducted this time round are Rush, Public Enemy, Albert King, Heart and Randy Newman, while producer Quincy Jones and impresario Lou Adler will together receive the Ahmet Ertegun Award for behind-the-scenes music business talent.
Announcing the final list of 2013 inductees, Joel Peresman, President of the Rock N Roll Hall Of Fame Foundation, told reporters: “This year’s class of inductees again represents the broad, compelling and significant definition of rock and roll”.
