And Finally
Dolly Rockers not dropped, just moving
By CMU Editorial | Published on Wednesday 18 November 2009
The Dolly Rockers have denied claims that they have been dropped by EMI. The group admitted that they are leaving the label, but said they are moving to Mercury with their A&R man.
I’m not sure if this means said A&R man has been sacked for signing acts like The Dolly Rockers and told to take them with him. I’m sure it doesn’t.
Anyway, this is what Lucy Kay from the group said via Twitter: “We haven’t been dropped or split up. Our A&R is changing labels and we are going with him. … This decision was made a few days ago”. So there you go.
