DIY Blog: CMU:DIY x Urban Development 03 – Building A Fanbase With Social & Music Media

By | Published on Wednesday 22 March 2017

It was the latest CMU:DIY x Urban Development Industry Takeover Seminar at the Red Bull Studios in London last night.

The third in the latest series of seminars, this one looked at how new artists can build and engage a fanbase through social media channels and some music PR, with insights from Afryea Ama from Virgin EMI, Saquib B from GRM Daily and YouTube expert Jenny Quigley-Jones.

CMU’s Chris Cooke kick-started the proceedings, and you can download his slides HERE, or check them out below. If you become a UD Creative you’ll also get a PDF summary of the event, plus the Takeover Tips Guide based on the last series of seminars. Check out chapter one of that Guide HERE and click HERE to become a UD Creative.
