While the big news in Warner land this week was the announcement that the mini-major’s UK chief Christian Tattersfield is stepping down, rejigs a plenty are occurring lower down the firm’s British division where the integration of the Warner Bros and Parlophone labels is underway. Warner acquired former EMI division Parlophone earlier this year of course, and while the combined Warner Bros/Parlophone is being led by former EMI man Miles Leonard, a number of other former EMI-ers are now departing the company.

According to Music Week, Parlophone’s VP Of Artist Relations Sefton Woodhouse is the latest exec to leave as part of the integration, following the recent departure of PR directors Debra Geedes and William Luff. Meanwhile on the Warner Bros side, VP Digital & Artist Development Sam Stubbings has left to join Native Management.

Music Week quotes Woodhouse as saying: “Thank you to all of the colleagues, artists and artist managers who I have been lucky enough to work with over the past fifteen years. It’s been a truly awesome experience at EMI; the music, the events and making many, many friends.”

Meanwhile the there mentioned Luff has announced that he is launching his own PR company Wilful Publicity, which will represent many of the artists he worked on at Parlophone, and others.

Luff told CMU: “After eleven years working for EMI, I am launching my very own PR agency called Wilful Publicity. I’m delighted that I will be continuing to represent my existing roster, and to announce that I will be representing the singer and songwriter Fish who is releasing his first album for six years, entitled ‘A Feast Of Consequences’, along with upcoming Welsh rock act The Dirty Youth and the fantastic new artist Zena Kitt”.
