David Bowie may play Next Day shows, hints Iman
By Aly Barchi | Published on Thursday 14 March 2013
So, after guitarist Gerry Leonard said the chances of David Bowie playing live off the back of his new LP, ‘The Next Day’, were “50/50”, his (that’s David’s) other half Iman is apparently over half-convinced that he (Bowie) will tour.
Chatting to Grazia in the style magazine’s new edition, Iman hinted that she’d be unable to join Bowie “on tour” (gasp) because of their young daughter Alexandria.
“We have a twelve year old in school, so we are stuck, we can’t travel”, she said, adding: “Our schedule is around her, so I don’t know. We’ll have to go visit him, but we won’t be on tour with him because she’s in school”.
So, that’s that.
