Daft Punk action figures incoming
By Chris Cooke | Published on Monday 8 July 2013
If, like Tiësto, you’re not sure Daft Punk’s music is actually all that good, but you dig those cool helmets, well worry not, because official Daft Punk action figures are in production, meaning you’ll soon be able to participate in the coolness of the brand without actually having to listen to any of the duo’s records.
Being developed by Japanese companies Bandai and SH Figuarts, the Daft Punk action figures should be in the shops in Japan and the US before Christmas, though there are currently no release dates on the schedule for Europe.
Apparently they are “crafted with meticulous attention to detail” and the “helmet area employs a shiny metallic finish and clear parts for enhanced realism”. So that’s something to look forward to, isn’t it? Let’s hope Tiësto’s got a trip to Japan planned so he can pick himself up a pair.
