Cooking Vinyl has announced that it has entered into new ‘service deals’ with Gary Numan and The Rifles, the latter worldwide, the former all territories outside North America.

Numan will release his previously reported new album ‘Splinter (Songs From A Broken Mind)’ with the UK-based independent on 14 Oct, while via its deal with The Rifles, Cooking Vinyl will handle the release of the band’s fourth album, which has been funded via a PledgeMusic campaign.

Confirming the deals, Cooking Vinyl boss Martin Goldschmidt told CMU: “We’ve been waiting a long time for the new album from Gary and I’m pleased to say it’s absolutely been worth it. We are also excited to welcome The Rifles to the Cooking Vinyl family. Their successful PledgeMusic campaign has given the band some great momentum which we can use to launch their new album”.

Meanwhile Paul Barton from PledgeMusic added: “The Rifles’ PledgeMusic campaign was creative, engaging and exciting, it’s brilliant to see their hard work pay off in signing the deal with Cooking Vinyl. We have a great relationship with Cooking Vinyl and we look forward to the release of a brilliant album by a brilliant band!”
