• Universal Music Group has promoted Deborah Hyacinth to the new role of SVP Digital Marketing Innovation.

• If you want to see Take That live but can’t be fucked schlepping all the way down to the O2 Arena next month, their performance on 19 Jun will also be broadcast in cinemas. Here’s a trailer, and you’ll find more info here.

• Chemical Brothers film ‘Don’t Think’ is being screened at the BFI IMAX in Waterloo tonight. I suggest you get tickets right now.

• In their quest to find something to do other than release albums and play gigs, Efterklang have composed an opera. The show will premiere in Copenhagen on 26 Jul. More info here.

• Years & Years will release their debut album ‘Communion’, on 10 Jul. Here’s new single ‘Shine’. You’ll be able to catch them up at the Shempire on 12-13 Jun.

• Of Monsters And Men have released the video for their new single, ‘Crystals’.

• Future Brown have released the lyric video for ‘Room 302’, which features Tink.

• There’s a new Bang Gang single up on SoundCloud. It features guest vocals from Ladytron’s Helen Marnie.

• Susanne Sundfør will headline Koko in Camden on 27 Oct. Attendance is mandatory. No excuses.
