• “Companies like Spotify, the new Apple service and all the others are really going to have to pay artists more”, U2’s Larry Mullen Jr recently told RTE, relaxing back onto the sacks of money Apple paid him and his band for that exclusive album.

Charlie Simpson is back in Busted. New tour! New album! Boom.

• The Craig David comeback is on. Here’s his new single, ‘When The Bassline Drops’, a collaboration with Big Narstie.

• Le1f has released a new track, ‘Umamai/Water’, produced by Lunice and Evian Christ. The rapper’s debut album ‘Riot Boi’ is out this Friday.

• Ringo Deathstarr have covered T’Pau’s ‘Heart & Soul’. I’m mainly putting this here for Chris, but you might be interested too.

• Boots has released a new video. This is ‘CURE’.

• Frøkedal will release her debut album, ‘Hold On Dreamer’, through Propellor Records on 26 Feb. Here’s new single ‘Kid’.

• Prince is apparently coming back to Europe for another tour. But this time the performances will feature just him with a piano and a microphone. UK shows will reportedly take place in Glasgow, Birmingham, London and Liverpool.
