Other notable announcements and developments today…

• Twisted Sister have announced that they will split when they reach the end of their current touring commitments next year. The decision comes after the death of drummer AJ Pero earlier this year.

• Sharon Van Etten will release a new EP, titled ‘I Don’t Want To Let You Down’, on 8 Jun. Listen to the title track here. She will also play a handful of UK shows later this month, including at the Shepherds Bush Empire on 29 Apr.

• If you had a bet on guitarist Fred Abbott being the first former member of Noah And The Whale to release a solo track, well done. Here’s said track, ‘Funny How Good It Feels’. He’s going to release an album called ‘Serious Poke’ on 20 Jul too.

• Would you like to take a new Emika track for a ride? Well, here’s ‘Take Me For A Ride’.

• Jason Derulo will release his fourth album on 2 Jun. It’s called ‘Everything Is 4’. [shoulder shrug emoticon] Here’s new single, ‘Get Ugly’.

• OOFJ’s second album, ‘Acute Feast’, is out on 21 Apr. As a way to draw your attention to this fact, they’ve put out a Dean Blunt remix of ‘I Forgive You’.

• After touring the US with Sufjan Stevens, Cold Specks will play the 100 Club in London on 21 May. She’ll also release a new single, ‘Living Signs’, next week. Here’s B-side, ‘We Are Many (Revisited)’.
