• SoundCloud has poached Facebook Ireland MD Sonia Flynn for the newly created role of VP International. “Cheering”, said Flynn.
• Singer-songwriter Melanie Fiona has signed a record deal with Primary Wave BMG/Title 9 Productions. She’ll release her third album, ‘Awake’, through the company later this year. Here’s lead single ‘Bite The Bullet’.
• Digital Music News has got hold of documents that seem to show that Sony Music Unlimited had just 20,000 subscribers when it was shut down earlier this year.
• The trailer for Kurt Cobain conspiracy theory documentary ‘Soaked In Bleach’ has been released. The film is out on 11 Jun.
• Britney Spears and Iggy Azalea have released the video for ‘Pretty Girls’. You can watch it here.
• Squarepusher has released a virtual reality video, which you can watch on your Samsung Gear VR smartphone. Whatever one of those is. Or you can watch it on YouTube, changing the view as you go, if you’re a Google Chrome user.
