Other notable announcements and developments today…
• The Guardian has another clip of Kurt Cobain documentary ‘Montage Of Heck’. Have a look.
• NWA film ‘Straight Outta Compton’ also has a new trailer. An “Official Global Trailer”, no less. Watch it here.
• I’ve lost track of exactly where we are with Blur releasing new music, but this is definitely a new video for ‘Lonesome Street’.
• Janelle Monáe has released a new collaboration with Jidenna, which is set to feature on a new EP showcasing artists on her Wondaland label, titled ‘Wondaland Presents The Eephus’.
• Rob St John and Woodpigeon will release a split ten-inch on 20 Apr. From it, this is Woodpigeon’s ‘When You Look For Trouble, Trouble Comes’.
• Throwing Snow has announced a series of singles featuring tracks that are “focused on the club but still retain the evolving melodic elements” of his 2014 debut album. Listen to the first, ‘Lumen’, here.
• They Might Be Giants have announced that they will release a new album, ‘Glean’, on 20 Apr. The band have been releasing a new track each week via www.dialasong.com. Here’s the latest, ‘I’m A Coward’.
• Ride have announced that they will play a warm-up show for their US tour at Oxford’s Academy this Sunday.
• Oh Land will play a one-off London show at the Islington Assembly Hall on 15 Jun.
• Lion Babe and Seinabo Sey have announced a four date co-headline tour next month, which will hit The Scala in London on 20 May.
