CMU’s One Liners: Indie-Con, SoundCloud, Kanye West, more

Other notable announcements and developments today…
• The Association Of Independent Music has added some more speakers to the line-up of its Indie-Con event, which takes place in London next month. Tom Silverman from Tommy Boy Records, Hannah Overton from Secretly Group, Tom Robinson from 6 Music and that there Sam Duckworth are amongst the adds.
• SoundCloud has announced a partnership with wireless audio company Raumfeld. From later this month, it will be possible to access SoundCloud content on the company’s equipment.
• Opeth are continuing their 25th anniversary celebrations by launching their own beer, ‘XXV Anniversary Imperial Stout’. Brewed by the Leeds-based Northern Monk Brew Co, it’s 9.2% abv. If that seems a bit strong (because it is), they’ll also have a pale ale out early next year.
• Tei Shi has released the video for ‘Get It’ from her ‘Verde’ EP.
• The Very Best have released a video for ‘Let Go’, documenting their 2015 summer tour.
• Sennen have released a video for new single ‘Autopilot’. The band release their debut album, ‘First Light’, on 26 Feb next year.
• Protomartyr will play three UK shows next April. Magnet in Liverpool on 1 Apr, Broadcast in Glasgow on 2 Apr, and London’s 100 Club on 3 Apr.
• Kanye West and Kim Kardashian’s new child is called Saint. And that’s fine.
