• The US Music Business Association has partnered with the Association For Electronic Music to launch the Electronic Music Workgroup, with the aim of providing a place to discuss and further the electronic music business. “Happy”, said AFEM CEO Mark Lawrence.

• Talent agent Cara Lewis has reportedly left CAA, after three years with the company. She was previously with WME for 23 years. The New York Post is claiming that she was “ousted” following unsuccessful negotiations to renew her contract.

• Russell Simmons’ “leading cross-platform media destination for urban millennials” (aka YouTube channel) All Def Digital has passed the million subscriber milestone. “I’m so excited”, said the Def Jam founder.

• Dance music conference Brighton Music Conference will take place on 14-15 Apr next year.

• PC Music’s Hannah Diamond has released the video for new single ‘Hi’. So that’s here.

• DIIV will release new album ‘Is The Is Are’ through Captured Tracks on 5 Feb. Here’s new single ‘Bent (Roi’s Song)’.

• Adam Lambert will play two UK shows next year. He’ll hit the Hammersmith Apollo in London on 14 Apr, then Manchester’s Academy on 16 Apr. And here’s his new single ‘Another Lonely Night’.
