Other notable announcements and developments today…

• Lady Gaga has switched her agency allegiances, with CAA now repping the singer instead of WME, according to The Hollywood Reporter. CAA will rep Gaga in “all areas”, which presumably means acting gigs as well as music shows. Cos she’s an award winning acting type now, let’s not forget. Did you forget? Well, don’t.

• Another former Elastic Artists agent has popped up at a rival firm following that agency’s recent slip into administration. Paul McQueen, previously based in Glasgow, is relocating to London to join Primary Talent.

• Virgin Media is bringing music video platform Vevo to its customer’s TiVo boxes and, frankly, there is nothing you can do to stop that from happening. Sorry. It’s officially out of your control. But guess how Vevo EVP of Business Development Alex Kisch feels about the deal. Go on, GUESS.

• Seven David Bowie albums are currently headed for the UK top 40 this week, including ‘Blackstar’, which remains on course for number one. Meanwhile, three tracks are looking set to enter the main singles chart, according to the Official Charts Company.

• Bowie also heading for his first US number one with ‘Blackstar’.

• The BRIT Awards ceremony next month will include some sort of David Bowie tribute, as you’d probably expect.

• Now Magazine reckons that Adele’s planning to launch a fashion line aimed at “busy mums”. Just hope the mums aren’t too busy to notice.

• Enter Shikari have a new single out called ‘Redshift’. Have a listen.

• Danny L Harle has released the video for ‘Broken Flowers’.
