By Andy Malt and Chris Cooke | Published on Wednesday 17 February 2016
Other notable announcements and developments today…
• Perfume will release their new album, ‘Cosmic Explorer’, on 6 Apr. Here they are talking about it.
• Producer Seiho releases his debut album, ‘Collapse’, through Leaving Records on 20 May. From it, this is ‘Peach & Pomegranate’.
• Coldplay are going to headline Glastonbury for the fourth time in fifteen years this year. And to think, they’ve only done the Super Bowl once.
• Maynard James Keenan’s Puscifer are coming to the UK for the first time. They’ll play Manchester’s Bridgewater Hall on 30 May and The Roundhouse in London on 31 May.
• Kanye West’s new album is all over the file-sharing networks, Torrentfreak confirms. No surprise there really, I guess, though obviously it’s funny because of him being so insistent about the record only being available via Tidal. Do I mean funny? Tragic. Is it tragic? Concerning? Depressing? Creativity hindering? No, let’s stick with funny.
