Cliff announces free New York show for disappointed Morrissey fans

Cliff Richard was pretty disappointed when Morrissey cancelled their show together this coming weekend. As, I’m sure, was everyone who bought a ticket hoping to see that dream team share the same stage.

But the show, Cliff has decided, must go on. Or, at least, a show must go on. After all, he’s already booked his plane tickets and hotel. So, on the night that he was due to be performing at the Barclays Center – 21 Jun, this Saturday – Cliff will instead play the Gramercy Theater. And what’s more, the show will be free, with priority for entry given to people who bought tickets for the Morrissey gig.

As well as performing some songs, there will also be an on stage interview with Cliff. And if that doesn’t make it all better, I don’t know what will.
