Chilly Gonzales announces book, masterclass to aid “lapsed amateur pianists”
By Andy Malt | Published on Thursday 10 April 2014
Chilly Gonzales has announced a new book of 24 piano pieces, designed to bring people who gave up learning piano as children back to the instrument. Entitled ‘Re-Introduction Etudes’, he will promote the book with a series of masterclasses around the world, including at The Roundhouse in London on 29 Jul.
The live masterclass will see Gonzales explain the musical theory behind each piece in the book, provide tips for mastering them, and provide live on-stage coaching to a number of competition winners. The book will be published on 14 May, while the Roundhouse show takes place on 29 Jul. To book tickets and to find out how to win on-stage one-on-one tutoring, click here.
