Live Review: Chase And Status at The Great Escape 2010 on 15 May
By CMU Editorial | Published on Wednesday 19 May 2010
It is no surprise that this London duo have been one of the most successful drum and base twosomes to appear on the scene in recent years. Saul Milton and Will Kennard know what to give their audience, and the completely packed out Brighton Dome was buzzing with excitement as Chase And Status dropped heavy beats and heavier bass lines. With dubstep and grime influences, it is perhaps strange that one would get goosebumps. However, the amazing atmosphere and the completely immersive music left me utterly awestruck. A brilliant performance and a fantastic reaction from the crowd – the pair have every right to be a bit smug about their TGE show. JTP
