Carnaby St to host The Clash shop and showcase
By Aly Barchi | Published on Friday 23 August 2013
Similar to that Jimmy Hendrix one, Black Market Clash, a shop dedicated to all-things The Clash, will be ‘popping’ into London’s Carnaby Street (at 75 Berwick Street) on 7 Sep.
Open for a fortnight only, it’ll feature a showcase of not-on-sale memorabilia on loan from the band, specially-created merchandise, an HQ listening area and Fender Plug & Play ‘Master Classes’ and demonstrations. Really, mind, the main idea is to advertise ‘Hits Back’, a new Clash ‘greatest hits’ that’s released 9 Sep.
