Bruno Crolot joins Spotify
By Andy Malt | Published on Wednesday 12 October 2016
Former Midem director Bruno Crolot has been made the new Managing Director of Spotify in France and Benelux.
Tweeting about his appointment, he said that he is “very excited to join the band”. I hope there hasn’t been a horrible misunderstanding. Spotify is not a band, Spotify is a company. Oh God, he’s probably turning up at the door right now with his guitar. This is a disaster.
Crolot oversaw music industry conference Midem from 2010 to 2015, more recently acting as an advisor the Spain’s Sonar Festival. He has previously held roles at Universal Music, Sony Music and Orange.
